SCHEDULING ENGINEER


A leading Power Company in Nigeria seeks to engage the services of a Scheduling Engineer for an Open Cycle Power Plant Project in Nigeria for site assignment.


MAIN DUTIES

1. Schedule development

a) Develop a project plan and schedule that reflects the defined scope of work.

b) Prepare an executable project plan based on reference schedule and comply with contract schedule.

c) Review and integrate feedback from technical leads into the project schedule.


2. Progress Monitoring

a) Update the project schedule to assess planned progress against actual progress.

b) Identify critical and sub-critical activity sequences and develop mitigations measures with the team and Consortium partner.

c) Prepare adequate schedule and progress reports to communicate and document the project status.

d) Ensuring continuous schedule feedback from site staff, collecting of relevant schedule data, evaluating impact on progress, deadlines and contractual milestones and inform Site Manager accordingly and present deviation reports.

e) Forensic analysis of events to support claim defense and claim preparation if adequate

Control of activity durations / progress based on man-hour and quantity tracking delivered by site.


3. Management Coordination

a) Present and answer questions on project schedules at project and contractor meetings.

b) Perform scheduling analysis (what-if-scenarios) for crucial events and report solutions

c) Work in concert with the project team and Lead Scheduler

d) According to contract management requirements to identify and to record all claim relevant delays and corresponding events in the delay register and to archive them for further analysis and claim preparation.

e) Document and archive daily progress by taking photos during the site walk down.


QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

◦Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Process Engineering or equivalent experience.

◦5 years working experience in Power plant or relevant position.

◦Candidates should be live in or be ready to relocate Benin, Edo State.

DESCRIPTION

Electronic Banking is the mechanism that allows customers to manage, manipulate and monitor their financial information by reviewing electronically delivered account statements as well as allowing instructions to be transmitted to Citi remotely from client offices via the Internet.


As a department we are responsible for ensuring new customers are installed and trained on CitiDirect BE, BE Mobile, Tablet and CitiConnect (CFX) and existing customers are successfully migrated from legacy systems to CitiDirect, as well as providing technical support to our clients on all Electronic applications, including local regional applications. The Electronic Banking Services Head is requested to:

◦Work with clients to implement file automation solutions which link their ERP/treasury management systems with CitiDirect in order to transfer payment files and receive statement data over a secure connection.

◦Ensure full and detailed testing of files and connections are complete before customer is considered active.

◦Complete Training and Support of CitiDirect, Be Mobile, CitiDirect Tablet and related electronic banking systems etc

POSITION SUMMARY:


The Administrative Assistant will assist in the office administration and logistics of the MNCH2 at the State level. The Administrative Assistant will support the administrative and facility functions of MNCH2 for timely and effective implementation of project?s work. Support the coordination of MNCH2 transport and logistics services for all project activities at the state level. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for booking accommodation for all staff and consultants visiting their state for project activities.


RESPONSIBILITIES


Specific Responsibilities:

◦Follow MNCH2 administrative guidelines and ensure smooth operations at the state office in liaison with MNCH2 Country Office in Kano.

◦Support the review of existing administrative systems and procedures

◦Ensure office equipment and facilities are in good working condition at all times.
